Part-Time Pick, Pack, Despatch & Warehouse Operative.

Overview of the role We are a small friendly business located on the Stapleford/Sandiacre border near Nottingham and require a part-time person to assist with the packing and despatch of orders. We offer a pleasant working environment with free hot drinks while you work. Hours 1.00pm to 5.00pm Monday to Friday (20 hours)
Extra hours may be required during busy periods and to cover for holidays and sickness.
Immediate start available.
This is a permanent position. (Subject to the successful completion of a trial period) Duties Accurately picking stock for orders.
Packing goods securely.
Despatching orders to customers via Royal Mail or Commercial carrier.
Helping to load and unload delivery vehicles and other general warehouse duties.
Stocking shelves and keeping products neat and organised.
Keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised.
There may also be the opportunity to progress to using various machinery, including card creasing & die-cutting equipment and guillotine operation (no prior experience required, full training will be given). Personal Profile Be RELIABLE with EXCELLENT timekeeping and attendance.
A good level of NUMERACY and LITERACY as role involves working from comprehensive order picking lists.
Self-motivated and a positive can-do attitude.
High attention to detail and willingness to get stuck in.
Basic computer skills required.
Self motivated and able to work quickly and accurately under own initiative or as part of a team without the need for constant supervision.
Will need to be comfortable working on feet all day.
The job includes manual handling, heavy lifting & moving stock around the warehouse.
